Ault Park Engagement Session in Cincinnati, Ohio
Sometimes you run into a couple who are 100% meant to be. You know, in the depth of your soul, that they were made for each other. That’s exactly how I felt photographing Maisie & Kristian for their Cincinnati engagement session.
Being a part of the love people share, and being able to capture it, is one of my ultimate joys. I resonated so much with Maisie & Kristian’s love story – they met in high school, and have known since a young age that they would marry each other. A little fun fact about me – I married my husband, who I started dating in high school, at the age of 20! So when Maisie asked me not to judge her situation I had to laugh out loud and tell her I literally could NEVER because I was at one point in the exact same boat!

Describe your relationship as a couple:
“Fun and easy. We just roll with the flow and enjoy each other.”
What do you love to do together?
“We do everything together! During the summer, we love to spend time at the lake. Other times we like running errands, dressing up and going out to eat, and sometimes we will go do something fun or silly like go to Chuck E. Cheese lol.”
How do you want to feel when you look back at these photos?
“Young. I don’t want us to fake maturity or act like we have it all together. Although I do want to see romance and love and seriousness, I mostly want to recognize and highlight that we are young and fun and silly.”
What’s something you do together that is meaningful?
“We attend church together every Sunday – it’s something we value!”
