Cincinnati, Ohio has so many beautiful wedding venues that can accommodate any size wedding and theme. There are many different styles of venues to choose from, including hotels, restaurants, outdoor locations, and more. One of my favorite wedding themes during the Spring and Summer months here in the Midwest is a an outdoor garden wedding. Al fresco dining, overflowing blooms and greenery everywhere – how could you go wrong? But in order to start planning your dream garden wedding you have to find the perfect venue! As a Cincinnati wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing at so many different wedding venues, and today I’ve rounded up some of my favorites that would be perfect for that lush garden wedding vibe.
Greenacres Foundation
Greenacres Foundation, a non-profit organization, is a Cincinnati wedding venue and event center. The Greenacres Foundation provides an intimate setting for weddings and other events, and has hosted weddings of all sizes from 10 to 400 guests. I am obsessed with the European feel of this unique venue, and a tented reception is one of my favorite ways to host an outdoor event in the Midwest. You can dress it up and create the most lush garden wedding of your dreams.
Pinecroft Mansion at Crosley Estate
The Pinecroft at Crosley Estate is a beautiful manor in the Greater Cincinnati area that is perfect for estate weddings. This Tudor-inspired property was established in 1883 as a summer cottage retreat, and was later turned into a summer resort and then eventually into an elegant country club. Today, it is one of the most sought after wedding venues in Ohio with over 100 years of service to couples. The permanent tent behind the estate is the perfect blank canvas for a dreamy garden style reception.
Ault Park
The Premier Parks in Cincinnati are some of my favorite venues around. French Park, Ault Park and Alms Park are located around Cincinnati, Ohio. They offer a wide variety of choices for wedding ceremonies and receptions, from pavilions to large outdoor spaces that are perfect for an upscale tented wedding with a garden vibe. The Ault Park pavilion can be dressed up in hanging greenery with ease and transformed into garden wedding paradise. Plus the grounds are huge and the possibilities for portrait locations are endless.
Peterloon Foundation
Another estate wedding venue in Cincinnati, Peterloon has everything you could need for a timeless garden wedding. When constructed in 1928, every detail of Peterloon was carefully chosen for its beauty and historical relevance from European castles and estates. The back lawn of the Peterloon estate is surrounded by a breathtaking view of the stunning property and has an expansive 55’x100’ hardscape terrace fashioned with attractive pavers that blends seamlessly with the historic appearance of the estate, complete with a walkway leading from the house and an adjacent catering space. The terrace was strategically designed to accommodate multiple sized tents, perfect for a garden outdoor wedding.
French Park
French Park is another beautiful location in Cincinnati for an outdoor wedding. It’s also a part of Premier Park events, and has a serene atmosphere, with the trees and flowers. During the warmer months the park is equipped with a wedding tent, which makes the perfect backdrop for a garden style wedding event after an outdoor ceremony in the lush gardens.
