Cincinnati, Ohio Surprise Proposal | Cincinnati Proposal Photographer
Recently this year I had the opportunity to photograph the sweetest surprise proposal in Cincinnati. Proposals are one of my favorite things to document because they are so genuine and full of joy and emotion, and you just can’t fake those reactions! This beautiful evening was no exception.
Trevor reached out to me about photographing his surprise Cincinnati proposal with his longtime girlfriend Corinne, and I could immediately tell how much thought he had put into this moment and how much care and love they have for each other. It really is such an amazing thing to be a part of as people head into this next chapter of their lives.
The game plan was pretty simple, Corinne was under the impression that herself and her sister, mom and friends were doing a girls night after dress shopping for her sister Caroline (who’s wedding I get to photograph next year – ahhh!). They went and looked at dresses in the Cincinnati bridal district, sipped some bubbly, then headed to The Lytle Park Hotel for some drinks with an unmatched vibe. Little did she know this is where Trevor would be waiting to pop the question. With the help of the amazing Lytle Park Hotel staff, we made our way up to the rooftop where the ladies were conveniently facing away posing for photos, and within the blink of an eye Trevor was there and on one knee proposing to a completely surprised Corinne!
It was such a joy to witness, then the Lytle Park Hotel staff brought out a bottle of champagne for our newly engaged couple and it couldn’t have been more perfect! After some time to show off the rock and let Corinne process what just happened we went around the hotel to take a few more photos of these lovebirds, and they were simply radiant with joy! I truly had such a blast with these two, and I’m so grateful to get to do this job and capture such precious, intimate moments.
